Then mount the cap in the board, and bend the leads to hold it in place. Drill a hole for the second lead of the back-up cap, just to the side of the negative battery lead (see picture above).

After several weeks of chasing the seller down and her getting it out of storage, we picked it up yesterday. 1977 Evel Knievel Bally Professional Home Model. It worked and she sold it to us for $516 (it's missing the leg bolts so she took some off the price).
I just wanted the lady to know that we're a family who would use the game as opposed to some cigar smoking fat cat dealer who will just sell it to the highest bidder. I just need to figure out how to reset the high score it displays now. As long as the wife lets me keep it, then I will continue to improve my high score of 129,988. Yes there were some conflicting information from a video I viewed about a possible proto type and that I have learned was not the case. Yes the playfield is not that great, but the overall patina just tells the games story and how many people actually enjoyed playing it over the years. But after getting it home, messing with the connector and playing the game, I have a deep respect for these vintage games. In many ways when I bought the game, it was just a quick investment and to see if I could fix it and flip it. The black glass appears to be in or near great to perfect condition.
